How many hours a week do you spend watching other people live their lives? Their routines, homes, bodies, dream lives…
What if you brought all that energy back to yourself? 💛
That's where a sankalpa comes in. A sankalpa means an intention you set for yourself, a simple promise about what you want to cultivate more of in your life. You set it when your body is calm and your mind is still, then carry it with you into everyday life…
And that's why we're introducing The Offline Reset. A movement that invites you to put the phone down, come back into your body, finally hear yourself, make something with your hands and really connect with the people in the room.
We begin with a beginner-friendly Traditional Hatha class with Veronika. Expect a practice rooted in yogic tradition, with breathing techniques, longer holds in each posture and a guided meditation at the end 🌀
Then we move into a collage session with Anushka. Magazines, scissors, glue and no right way to do it. A chance to make something with your hands and set some intentions for the weeks ahead ✂️
After that, we slow right down with a cup of hot tea and the part we like best: sitting around and talking with people you've only just met.
Come as you are and leave feeling a little lighter. We can't wait to spend a few slow hours with you 🩷

Who you’ll be with

Veronika
Yoga teacher
Veronika is a certified yoga teacher based in Rotterdam.
Besides studio classes, she hosts donation-based yoga in Euromast Park, Rotterdam, for her loyal community of 200+ students.
Veronika completed her Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India, to learn yoga from its roots while focusing on accessible practice for all. Her main focus is traditional Hatha and Vinyasa, and she feels comfortable holding space for students of all levels. As a big yoga philosophy nerd, Veronika ensures her classes are not only inclusive and safe but also inspiring.
“I teach yoga to inspire people to come back to the mat the next day… and the day after… and to go beyond the mat to meet their true selves through yoga.”

Anushka
Collage host · Scrap Society Rotterdam
Anushka has been hosting collage and junk journaling workshops in Rotterdam for over a year, building a creative community of over 100 people through Scrap Society Rotterdam.
About the venue
Garage Rotterdam is a contemporary art space in the centre of the city: an old Volkswagen garage turned into 500m² of gallery and a coffee bar back in 2011. Four exhibitions a year, with talks, music and performances alongside them.
Your ticket includes entry to whatever is showing, so you can wander the exhibition before the yoga or after the collage, tea in hand.

On while we're there
An Eye Dreads the Sun
12 September to 15 November
The title comes from a poem by Etel Adnan: the sun as a source of life, but also as an eye witnessing violence and displacement. In A Thousand Sunsets, Atousa Bandeh freezes the shifting colours of a sunset into a monumental installation.
Good to know
We begin at 11 with a yoga session and then head to the craft corner at noon. The whole session lasts about 3 hours, but you are free to drop in for either yoga or craft and leave whenever you like. The reset is what you make of it!
We encourage you to stay to the end to connect with new people, but it's completely up to you.
Yes! Both the yoga session and the crafting workshop are beginner friendly.
Only your yoga mat! All craft materials are included in the ticket price, and so is a cup of hot tea. You can also bring a change of clothes if you prefer to get comfortable after the session, but this is optional!
you’re going to fit right in 👀
What started as a personal hobby quickly grew into something she wanted to share with others. For Anushka, creativity is not just about making something beautiful — it's about putting your phone down, getting creative with your hands, and creating a space where people can connect, share ideas and enjoy being present together.
She loves bringing people together through creative activities and believes that everyone brings their own perspective to the table, whether they're completely new to crafting or have been creating for years.
“For me, the most fun part about hosting craft workshops is seeing how people get into their creative flow state and make something they're so proud of. I love seeing everyone's creations at the end and learning the story behind them!”
